I'm running UBUNTU server 8.04.1 on a DELL Latitude CP laptop.
I did 2 fresh installs.
First install was ok and all works like it should.
I found a new and bigger HD in my junkbox so I installed that disk and re-installed Ubuntu server again from the same CD.
Now I have the problem that my Xircom Ethernet 10/100+ card is not recognized after a reboot.
When I remove and reinsert the card it will be discovered and it works.
This was definitively NOT the case after my first install of the server.
I did many reboots and the card was always present after that.
Who can tell me what can be the cause of this?
Regards, Wim
