I'm sort of stuck at this problem. I want to start ubuntu and have it create two xservers. It should automatically login to gnome in screen 0 (VT7) and automatically login to a wmii session in screen 1 (VT8).

I managed to play around with /etc/gdm/gdm.conf and /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom. I got as far as to automatically creating two xservers and having screen 0 logging in automatically but screen 1 is stuck at the login screen. I also allowed the same user being logged into different sessions.

How do i get screen 1 to automatically login to wmii?

Notes:
using Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid.
I can login to wmii manually by clicking on Options->Select Session->Wmii
