I had oo3 with my 8.04 but after upgrade I have back oo2.4.
Is oo3 still on my computer? If yes is there any way to activate it again?

I had the same problem. It seems that 8.10 links to Oo2 if you still have it installed (or does it reinstall it??)

I went into System -> Preferences -> Main Menu
removed all references to Oo2
and then did a search for openoffice.org3.0-debian-menus_3.0-9354_all - this may still be on your comp from the original install. It's a package that updates your debian menus so they point directly to Oo3. Just double click it, it will work its magic and all will be good again :)

You could also just set up the links directly and manually in the Main Menu option. Your Oo3 hasn't been removed, it's just gone from the debian menu that's all! Good luck!
