Hi,
while trying to make a net upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 via packet manager I found a little piece of bad news :)
After downloading, setting up and cleaning my system was rebooted and after it booting was stopped.
There is a only text mode screen i can see with "/etc/rc.local" booting script running remarks on it.
I wait about 20 minutes, but it seems that system do nothing. So thats all of my upgrade experience.
Is it ok for 8.10 upgrade procedure?
:lolflag:
Yeah, my Ubuntu 8.04 was pretty running on Sony Vaio VGN-TZ170n laptop.
