Hi. I'm pretty new to this so I give my apologies in advance. :P

I want to try to install Ubuntu and replace OpenSuse 11.0. Do I have to somehow format the OpenSuse partition first? I also want to shrink the partition currently occupied by OpenSuse so that I have more space on my Vista Business partition. Should I do all of this from the Ubuntu LiveCD?

Thanks in advance :)

Ricky

LOL @ myself right now. It seems that I just had to google the right terms, I kept trying and missed the mark...until now. Apparently, google does a better job at searching forums than the integrated search on the site :P

But just to make sure, I can pop in the live CD, select the old OpenSUSE partition, and then the old Swap, resizing the OpenSUSE partition as i go?

Thanks, ricky :)
