Latitude D630 can't display while docked after update

This morning I took the updates for my Dell Latitude D630 running Hardy Heron. I rebooted and when the system came back up, it fails to recognize my dock. I tried booting undocked and docking - no luck. So then I tried doing an
xrandr --auto while docked. That was no good either. Finally I plugged the monitor into the VGA port directly on the Latitude and reran xrandr. Nothing works.

I believe one of the updates was the intel driver. I don't remember the others. How can I get a history of updates?

Any clues on how I can debug this?
