I've been puzzled by the inability to choose the CST timezone (GMT-6:00) and US during a GUI install. The closest I can get is Chicago which is GMT-5:00, but I have to choose a city in Canada or Mexico to get the corrent timezone. Why is this and even better, how can I not use the stupid city chooser, is there a switch I can use before booting to disable it?

Are you choosing by the map or from the drop down?

The reason Chicago may be showing up as GMT-5 is due to Daylight Savings Time, which is now longer in the US than in most of the rest of the world that observes Daylight time.

I've tried both the drop down menu and clicking, but neither will find any cities that are CST and in the US.
