Hello
I installed 8.10 on my desktop, very happy with linux :) however. I can see wireless networks and my network is showing, but when I get prompted for password it just won't take it .. it keeps loading and it dose nothing.

I tried several times, it just won't work. my brother is having the same problem with his laptop. both of us can't connect.

it is WEP network.

Please advice, thanks

A little more info would help a lot, what strength WEP? Open or Shared? Which router/card etc.?

My install initially did that...All I did was unplug the usb adapter, reboot, plugged it back in and when 8.10 found it I entered my WPA key and everything was hunky dory.

Good luck to you, hope your issue is as easy to resolve as mine was.

Mahalo!
