Hell all. I am having a blast playing with this thing ... cool stuff!
I have a well functioning (ripping, video & music playback) backend/frontend machine that has now become my workstation at home (I havent logged back into windows since the day I installed mythbuntu! :-) I setup a front end and got it working with my vidoes that are on the master (after finally figuring out that I had to CREATE the folders before mounting them ... then to later figure out that I needed to mount the SAME folder path on the frontend as the backend, or else you have all sorts of weirdness.) ...
SO .. I got this other frontend working and video playback is now working but when I go into music no files are listed ....
DOH!! RIGHT as I typed that I remembered having to go to Setup > Music Tools > Select Music and select the music I wanted displayed. I just did that and it worked. I feel like a fool.
The good news is that I am going to post this anyway, maybe it will help someone else. :guitar:
