For those of you who currently participating in Skyfire's open beta, an upgrade from version 0.6 to 0.8 is now available for those with Windows Mobile phones.

In order to upgrade, you must start Skyfire and click on the upgrade link on the Skyfire start page.

For those of you who don't know, Skyfire is a free, downloadable mobile web browser that allows you to experience the internet on your phone exactly like on your PC.

Skyfire's beta is open to all users. All you have to do is sign up at Skyfire's website, www.skyfire.com

If I remember correctly, they'll send you a text message with a download link so that you can install the browser on your phone.

Skyfire is also extending support to Symbian-based phone users with its 0.6 version. Version 0.8 is currently not available to these phones, but they are working on an upgrade for them.
