I just had an idea that ubuntu should have a theme song.
My proposal: Love Is The Seventh Wave, The Duhks
Post Your Proposals.

LESS NOISE! PLEASE!

The first thing I ever do is disable all the useless racket I get whenever I click something, whether it be a Live CD, new installation, or application.

I noticed in the Ibex beta that the routine startup sound has changed. Will it be this way in the final version? I like (prefer) the one I've heard in the last few releases.

Techno remix of the chicken dance. It seems oddly fitting....

I'm thinking it should be the first few bars from Van Halen's "Love Walks In". But then, that's just me.

Or, actually, how about Van Halen's cover of "Won't Get Fooled Again"?

Make a nice little political statement, don't 'cha know...

How about "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"? Check it out on :-

YouTube (http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=8E8xMcXmI9E)

Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lion_Sleeps_Tonight)

It's got a wonderful ring to it & its funny too.. Plus it's got words in Zulu - 'Ubuntu' is Zulu too...

The song is a legend, just like the OS...:P

I go for The Internationale (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Internationale), International with multi-language support and it somewhat fits if you look at the OS market.
