Hello all,

I am taking my first tentative step in the world of mail servers, though I may have accidental taken one before... hmmm...

Anyway, I am trying to install postfix, but am having problems with step 1: installing it. Here's the dialogue from apt-get

You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
exim4-daemon-light: Depends: exim4-base (>= 4.69) but it is not going to be installed
Conflicts: mail-transport-agent
postfix: Conflicts: mail-transport-agent
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
damien@mediabox:~$ sudo apt-get -f install

I have tried sudo apt-get -f install to clean up, but I am a little lost as to the next step. Does anyone have any ideas as to the next step I should take?

Cheers,
Damien
