Hi,
yesterday i got me a samsung sgh f480. All in all its a good cellphone/touchphone. Basically it it is managed through widgets and has a well done gui.
Now after some searching, i realized that the support from Samsung is not so good. Of coarse there is no official Linux software, and - due to its short availiability - the usual linuxapplications seem to not support the f480 for now.
Before i give it back, and change it to a Sony Ericsson (or something), i would like to have your opinions on the further development of linux support for the f480.
Will there be the possibility, to share the contacts/mails/notes from the f480 with Evolution?
Will it be possible to tamper with the filesystem of the f480 to make own Widgets/Skins/Themes ?
Lastly, in the further future, will it be possible to skip the Samsung Software, and use Open Source Software? Like -lets say - Openmoko, Debian or Ubuntu Mobile? (Wouldn`t that be cool?)
thanks in advance
