*update 10-28-2008 breaks system

Dont know if it's just happening to me, but

THE LAST UPDATE BROKE MY SYSTEM (terribly)

Use Ubuntu 8.10 + Gnome + KDE4.1

After downloading the Kernel-image, Adept waarns me about dependecies and after that disk is readonly

after reboot WHOLE / directory is BROKEN,
and can only mount to my /Home mountpoint

have to install UBUNTU again.

Make that 1 day.. And I have some of the same issues with my RC. RC isn't exactly perfect at all.
