I need help installing Ubuntu.
I download Ubuntu off http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download
I burned It onto a Disk using Recod Now
I put the disk into my computer
I booted my computer from the DVD
There were 4 options
1) Try Ubuntu without changing anything on your computer
2) Install Ubuntu
3) Check CD (To make sure it's not corrupted or anything)
4) Boot from first hard drive disk
I tried all options except 4
1) Some long error message; failed things, not excepting USB
2) Some long error message; failed things, not excepting USB
3) Nothing was wrong with the disk
4) Didn't try
As you can see none of these options worked
I do wait until each option is done it says take dask out and press enter to continue. I take the task out however when I press enter nothing happends so I unplug and plug my computer back in.
Now when I take the disk out and not boot from it; Windows is not working, but getting windows to work isn't really that important to me
What should I do now?
Also I never tried to run anything from the .exe thing that you could do instead of booting from the disk. This is no longer an option though because Windows is no longer working.

It would help if you could provide the exact error messages.

If you can't get the normal install to work then you can try installing from the alternate install CD, which won't let you run Ubuntu as a LiveCD but you can still install from it.

It's surprising that Windows is not working after using the LiveCD, it should not have modified anything on your hard drive.
