I heard something funny on the bus ride home today. The obnoxiously large group of kids who ride the bus every day decided to crush the part of the bus where I sit to 3-to-a-seat today. As such, I was forced to listen to the topics of discussion, which are almost always undesirable to overhear. Today, some girl was talking about how she had seen a computer with the Opera web browser (which she didn't pronounce right), and how it was clearly created by Oprah Winfrey. After all, the logos do look similar, right?

When I burst out laughing hysterically, I was rewarded by some peace for my conversation with a friend by cell phone :)

Opera is developed in Norway, and is clearly made by Oprah Winfrey. Therefore, Oprah is Norwegian :)

Oprah is an ugly african-american woman who doesn't know when to close her mouth. My experience with the females of Norwegian origin has been pretty much exactly the opposite. :lolflag:

The confusion is perhaps not so rare.

The Opera website used to have a FAQ where they made it explicit they were not related to Oprah. :)

It seems to be gone now. It was there around version 6 or 7.
