Favicon and KDE

I have just installed KDE from the repos (previously running Ubuntu with Gnome) and have tried clicking and dragging icons from the address bar in konqueror to the desktop. I get a really nice looking generic internet icon with a little tag with the site's favicon image on it, but it will not allow me to rename it or link an application to it (it asks which application I want to open it with every time).

Is there a way to use favicon in KDE without these problems?
