Hi,

I think I read somewhere that the CDs availabla via ShipIt come with ubuntu stickers to stick on one's computer. Is that true or is my memory playing a trick on me?

Your correct but may not be talking about the stickers you want, stickers with Ubuntu CD are long rectangle white ones.

The stickers you get free from system76 by sending a SAE to them are the ones like in my avatar.

If this is still the case I don't know.

I've gotten mine, that's what's important.

What are those for? I'm talking about something like the "intel core 2 duo inside" thing on my laptop; like the image attached to this post (just an example, I don't want a sticker with vista :) ).

Those you have to get from System76 or make them yourself (there are a few pics you can use to create your own stickers).

Why doesn't Ubuntu sell the stickers like that from System76?
