Hi!
I tried several "how to's" to install Ubuntu on a Promise onBoard raid controller.
There is a WinXP installation in a primary partition (15GB).
I want to install Ubuntu from live-CD behind the XP partition.
After booting from CD, making an internet connection and "free" the repositories, I installed "dmraid"
I tried a
>dmraid -ay
>dmraid -r
that shows me the array (two entries).
Several how to's tell, that I should see "control" plus some other entries, in order to "fdisk" the partitions. But in "/dev/mapper" there is only the "control" entry.
Any ideas ?
