Hi all..:)

I have some problems whit Kubuntu 8.10.

When i get to the login screen and type my user/pass and hit login, the gdm/xserver is restarting, and send me back to the login screen..

When i try the failsafe option it says "x-terminal-emulator not install".

When i boot from the live cd, its the same problem.

KDE 4.0/kubuntu 8.04 dosent have this problem.

When booting the very same cd-disk in Vmware under windows its no problem either.

Im using a IBM R50 laptop whit some intel grafik card(no nvidea card)

I have made a new burn from the 8.10 iso, and it still the same, so thats not why..

I have also try to reconfigure xorg.conf, but that dosent help eiter.

EXTRA INFO:
The very first time i ran the 8.10 live disk, it work fine whit kde 4.1, i did the install, and when i rebootet the problem came. and now its even broken whit the live disk.

Hope for some help.

Thanks
Jacob

PS: if i go to the terminal (ctrl+alt+f6) and wait, the kde IS loading fully, but when going back to f7(gui screen) then it crashes.. wierd.
