I am considering buying a barebones PC (w/o OS) loading Ubuntu desktop. WillI be able to run MS Office software and IE7 (is this downloadable?) on this m/c. This would save out charity paying £200 for a PC with Vista. It is only used for internet training and office lessons.

Why not just change everything in the office to Linux? The only thing I can't do with firefox and opera is print online coupons.
