hey i am new to ubuntu platform...i am basically into programming so i would like to know how and what all i need to do java and c/c++ programming in ubuntu.
will the java code and c/c++ code directly compile in it...or do i ve to install additional like i ve to do in windows...jvm for java and ansi compiler for c/c++.
also where i would get these packages from.
