[SOLVED] Adept Updater and K3b

I'm having some trouble with the Adept Updater. For some reason, it's showing up on my desktop saying that it has an update to make. I'll open it up and it'll show an upgrade for K3b, but no change requested. I'll click on apply changes. It'll run it's process and say it's done, but it won't get off the screen. It just keeps saying the K3b is upgradable, but no change requested.

I'm running Hardy Heron.

Well, that's because although the k3b package appears as upgradable, the requested action is "no change" (for reasons that I still don't understand). So you must explicitly request the upgrade (right click, request upgrade).
