Hi,
I have my Ubuntu 7.10 installed with everything under one single partition: the root partition contains everything. Yeah, yeah, I know it was dump.
So now I have realized my mistake after 2 years. My /usr and /home grow enormously since then. I am in the process of purchasing a new HDD for my system and also considering putting this HDD under a LVM for good.
Please help me explain how to move my existing 7.10 root partition into the new LVM enabled drive.
