No. vBulletin is the best software to date for a forum of this size and its features needed, and it can't really be condensed into a smaller version (in fact, it doesn't work that well at 800x600).

no worries, I got burned by my cellphone provider so I don't need a mobile version anymore.

its up to VB to make it so it can be viewed by mobile phones

It also works with Nokia N95. But loading time is slow. N95 has memory problem with huge web pages.

It's not the just size that's the issue, it's also loading time. I can browse on my PSP and iPod touch, but pages take forever to load. It would be nice to have a light version of the forums, but it looks like that's not happening anytime soon.
