I downloaded the deb Fann package, but it is only precompiled for XP to my knowledge. In Mathematica, the fann readme says to type in $UserAddonsDirectory to locate the folder to copy and paste the .exe s to.
For me that returns the location /root/.Mathematica
I can't locate that folder and when I try to create it, I get a dialogue box that says it already exists.
Any ideas or does anyone know where a precompiled Fann for Mathematica package for Ubuntu is?? Thanks in advance
I am pretty much code illiterate but I know I installed Mathematica via root because it made me do it that way.
