I have wanted to make an xp ubuntu dual instal for a wile and have downloaded the following gparted latest grub + grub for dos sysrescue gentoo live rescue latest debian packadge install cd macker and need to know one last thing ..... after doing all the steps to make drives configured and making swap file and boot config changes im unsure what this means <<<>>>>>>> I need to have the /share partition mounted at boot time specifieing my login ID as the owner.. This im unsure of the example given was display your user ID record from /etc password . so if my user and password was moogie would i write it like /moogie/moogie ... also moogie@moogie:~$ grep moogie /moogie/moogie..
