Printer Manager Does Not Accept Pwd

The Gnome CUPS manager will not accept my password when requested. I deleted the printer from the terminal using lpadmin. Installed again and tried to set as default but password not accepted. I need to make other changes.

Is there a better GUI interface I could use?
