View Full Version : [ubuntu] Failed Live CD (32-bit) could be Intel Turbo Memory issue?

Hi I recently purchased a new laptop with Intel Turbo Memory. I then downloaded+burned a Live CD, from the Ubuntu website, using ISO Recorder V3. When I booted from the DVD-ROM drive the Live CD screen came up and when I chose to install Ubuntu it started to load the kernel but it takes a little while then gets up to 59% and then stops completely. Would the issue be because of the Turbo Memory or should I just try another ISO burner? I don't think it would be the ISO burner because I was able to boot the CD but I could be wrong. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Thanks in advance!!
