When working with some file (i.e. Work.txt) in the archive's folder appears a new Work.txt~ file. Why happens this?... I don't like these, because the interfere with my folder's organization and order... (I'm a little maniatic about this...). So, any response about the thread?
Thanks a lot!

That's the old file. If you much up the new version you can always revert to the old version.

The tide is used by gedit(the text editor) to idicate a backup of the file. You can delete them if you wanted.
To turn it off open Gedit, go to edit>preferences, and choose the "Editor" tab, inside under "File Saving" turn off "Create a backup copy of files before saving"
