I don't think it is fake. They may have cut out the reactions after looking up (when looking at the map or thinking about the directions, one probably wouldn't notice).

The guy in the video is Derren Brown, a mentalist who has a show called Mind Control in the uk.

well, if the first instinct is to look at the map automatically and not the person asking directions, then maybe. but aren't their voices quite distinguishable when they switch?

Ohh you have to be very observant to details to notice that.

But most of the time you find your self walking with a lot of tings in mind that you don't notice your surroundings.

But that is really cool... My be i should try on my friends once...
