Ok, after about 2 years of mostly successful ubunting I'm looking for a fairly what I hope is easy answer to a partition deleting question.
On one of my computers I have an xp partition, a ubuntu 7.10 partition plus swap and a hardy 8 partition plus swap. I'm looking to delete 7.10 plus swap and enlarge hardy....When I delete using gparted what will I need to do next....will the grub still be able to find the hardy. It was installed last and is in the extended partition.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks for the help!

Greg

It should be fine, if you didn't change the grub install at the end of the installation process then you've been using hardy's menu list.
