View Full Version : [ubuntu] Want to install Ubuntu on SCSI adapter desktop

:)Hi there I have the following problem.

My desktop at home has three IDE drives connected together by a scsi adapter. I have installed windows on this machine by slipstreaming the cd with the necessary scsi drivers using nlite.
I tried to load the ubuntu install cd directly but it would not install.It would say it could not find a drive to install the OS The cd would work in the live mode, like directly off the cd. I need to know what I should do to install the OS.
My PC name is as follows for hardware reference:
HP Workstation xw6000.
