Hi, Guys,

Whenever I access my Calendar on MSN_hotmail I am asked to update my web browser, which is Firefox in my case. Clicking on the live link downloads the update and files is on desktop, but I cannot find a way to install it.

Clicking on the update in Mepis brings up dpkg and the process is then automatic. Noting happens when I do the same in Ubuntu. I have searched Synaptic and could not find any updates for Firefox.

Any suggestion will be most appreciated,

Alex

I think it is a bug on the other end. I have the same message come up on my Uni online stuff. Tells me my browser needs to be updated. If you keep going though it works fine.

Is it possible to 'ignore' the request?

Yes, there is an option to "continue to Windows Live", which gets rid of the request for an update.

Thanks,

Alex
