I did a search and saw no one started a thread on this, so here goes. Surprised no one started a thread on this, topical and hopefully not political and OK with the mods.

Name your country,state/province, city or town.

Price of gas/petrol per gallon/liter (which ever is applicable).

After the DOW crash oil prices plummeted so gas went down to about $2.89 a gallon in Pittsburgh, PA. It was up near $4/gallon not that long ago.

At my local (UK) supplier diesel is down to £1.17 per litre ($7.20 US gallon) from £1.29 a couple of weeks ago.

Both my vehicles are diesel and are more economical than their petrol (gas) equivalents.

EDIT: just filled up this morning on the way home from work and it's down to £1.10/litre :)

I think it was like 1973 when we last saw 39 cents a gallon here in the States. I do remember paying 50 cents a gallon for gas in 1977.

Dropping, but not fast enough! Gas was as high as $1.299 per litre three weeks ago, and it's down to $1.124 today.

Of course, the last time oil was as low as it was, gas was $0.789 per litre!

Which reminds me of a joke that I will paraphrase:

"It was sooooo cold, that I saw a gas company executive with his hands in his own pockets".

99.6 cents per litre here in Toronto.

Will be 96.9 at midnight. It's less than a dollar, but that doesn't mean I can't complain. I remember when it was less than half a dollar! In Venezuela gas is 2 cents! >_<
