I am running the latest version of Mythbuntu on an epia M10000. When I put in a DVD, mythtv automatically loaded up the menu and when I begain playing it I noticed that the video was extremely choppy and CPU usage was very high. After a minute or so the machine locked up and I had to restart it. Next time, I tried using mplayer from an SSH session. The playback seemed much smoother, but the machine locked up again a few minutes later.

Another issue that might be related, when I tried to watch movie trailers from the Apple site, audio played fine but no video was displayed. For a fraction of a second I see a green background with what looks like a volume bar and after that I just see a black box with audio.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

I have quite a similar issue. trying to figure it out but am actually thinking about un-installing Jaunty from within windows (Upgraded from 8.10)saving my Home folder and reinstalling on the free space within my OS partition. That may solve a few issues for me anyhow.
