ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS Server updates

Howdy!

This should be a quick and easy question. How do I know when there are updates for ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS Server when I am not running X or Gnome?

I have periodically been running the "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get upgrade" commands.

You would need to set up a cron job to periodically run those commands, lets say every 4 days. How you would do this, I don't know. Maybe someone else will tell you how.
