View Full Version : [ubuntu] cannot find ~/.gnomerc

i feel like a noob with this
but i am installing the gnome global menu applet with the brand new deb packages
and i am using Gusty 7.10, and it says i need to add a line to ~/.gnomerc

i cannot seem to find this to change
and i cant figure out what command i would use in terminal to do so

plz help?

files (and directories) that start with a dot are hidden (this is how hidden files are done in linux)

open up your home folder in nautilus, and press ctrl + H to show hidden files / folders

under terminal, ls -a
