update error

I'm running the 8.10 beta, and really love it. Haven't had any real problems with it until the last couple of days. Now I can't update and when I try I get the following error:

Method gave invalid 400 URI Failure messageMethod gave invalid 400 URI Failure message

I've tried all of the terminal command lines to fix the problem and always get the same error message.
Can anyone tell me what this means and if there is a way to fix it?

HAve you tried a different server? Go to System-->Administration-->Software Sources and select Download from then select other. There is a button called Select Best Server, if you click theis button it will find the fastest sever for you.
