I've said yes to an automatic upgrade from my 7 version with 8.04. It all went fine except the internet connection. I can't connect to external world.
I tried tweaking the Network Manager, but no luck. I tried changing from Roaming Mode to DHCP, but didn't work.
Any pointers much appreciated!
And after some one told on the internet, I removed VMWAre package using Synaptic Manager - now I can't even get the the desktop - all I get is my login on a terminal!
