I'm looking for a new wifi card for my laptop (mini PCI-E)
I'm looking at this card http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012X7S2M/ref=s9k2a_c5_img2-rfc_p-3215_g1-3102_p?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=08FBVR5796ZJAHP1QAXW&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=292858901&pf_rd_i=507846
And am wondering if it works with ubuntu and if it would work for G wireless with just two antennas

It should. Intel wireless cards are pretty well supported in Linux.

But what about the fact that I only have two antenna cables and this card is meant for three (I don't need N)

It will work with A, G or N. So if you only use G it will still work.
