Hello everyone,
I have a weird problem. I have an external harddisk in a multimediacase that is hooked up with my television. From my ubuntu laptop I can copy avi files with according srt files to that disk using USB. Copying doesn't give an error and all files are well copied. But when i look via the file-explorer of this multimedia device on my television, I can see the directory I created, but not the files in it. I compared permissions on these files and other files on that device and there all the same.
The only solution I found this far is to copy these files to a windows machine from my ubuntu and then copying them to the device from my windows machine. After that the files are visible on the mediaplayer on my television.
Is there anyone that can help me???
