View Full Version : Firefox 'Preferences' tab questions

While setting up Preferences in the Edit tab I came to the last one which is 'Advanced' . Then under the 'Encryption' tab it has where all the security certificates are. I am curious as to what the screen shot I posted is all about. Are those things that I should remove, as I noticed one was listed 'Equifax' which I thought is the 'Credit debt Collection Agency' I'm not being paranoid, but wondering what all those certificates are listed for.
I would appreciate if some one could break it down to me.

Certificates are an effort to protect the user from malicious web sites.

You don't have to pay any attention to them. They are for all intents & purposes safe.
