This guy pops up everywhere. I was looking for Youtube versions of Guantanamera and what do I find but RMS with his very own version!!

But you (and I) have no idea what he's on about! He might be calling on the authorities to lock up all ubunteros and buffaloxes in guantanamo bay!

I'm scared... :(

Hah never knew that Richard Stallman knew spanish.
He's pretty good at it, too. Just needs some work on the accent. :)

His French, barring the heavy accent, is pretty good.

Nobody would confuse him for a native speaker, but I'm sure everyone understood him fine.

Yes you're right billgoldberg. He doesn't have the luxury to spend much time improving his French coz he's so busy promoting GNU/Linux and learning other languages. At one point he stops and says: "Excuse me for my French, I have some troubles speaking French since I'm learning Spanish at the same time."
Well ok, maybe we might accept your apology... ^^
He's just too nice sometimes. ^^

Along with his native English, Stallman is sufficiently fluent in French and Spanish to deliver his two-hour speeches in those languages, and claims a “somewhat flawed” command of Indonesian.

I had some friends in a band back in the 70's, they wrote a song to the same tune, & it was called One ton of Mara'.
