Hi all,
I am installing ubuntu on a laptop, which also have windows vista on it. I already have four partitions and i am not allowed to create additional primary partitions, so i can't create a swap partition for ubuntu to use, as the other three partitions are for other purposes.
I have two questions:
1) Is it ok to break the partition that i am planning to install ubuntu into two using extended partitioning and use the second as swap space?
2) If the above works, the best way to do that is with gparted from the ubuntu live cd?
Thanks in advance.
