From TheOpenCD website (http://theopencd.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=97): ... The magazine goes out in 55.000 copies, with recipients including all UK embassies and a range of charities. ... The custom CD contains the usual selection of free software for the Windows platform, along with a Live version of Ubuntu.

Speaking of that, I've seen Ubuntu CDs attached to *nix magazines here in Japan.

Our school gets APC (Australian Personal Computer/Computing), which recently (read : least twelve months) has been getting more and into Linux. Every cover DVD has a linux distro or two on it, and one I borrowed was a live Ubuntu DVD. I believe it also had an .iso for the install disc.

APC is great.

Thanks for mentioning The Open CD. I just visited the Wiki(pedia) and found out that no one updated the version numbers. Their updated now.
