Please help I am new to Ubuntu and have tried to install the server software on my laptop with Win XP and VMware ver 6. I create a new virtual machine and install the software, it completes with no error. Grub then checks for other OS's and boots the machine..... here the problems start...It shows starting up in the top left corner then gives following error..
"This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU: 0:6 Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU." I have loaded Ubuntu desktop on same machine in other virtual machine and it works.........what can I try:confused:
