I currently have Ubuntu installed on my MacBook Pro under bootcamp. (So a partition on the physical harddrive that I can boot into)

I also have VMWare fusion installed in OS X that allows me to boot that partition in VMWare.

However, I'd like to create an actual VMWare image of this ubuntu install so that I'm able to move it to a different computer, and for backup purposes.

Does anyone know how I could go about doing this? As far as I know the VMWare converter only works on Windows. (I do have a virtual machine of XP in Vmware fusion, however I don't think this will help)
