gnome-icon-theme error in upgrade to 8.04 LTS

Upon upgrading to version 8.04 LTS I got this message:

Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-icon-theme_2.22.0-1ubuntu2_all.deb'

The upgrade will continue but the '/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-icon-theme_2.22.0-1ubuntu2_all.deb' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it.

failed to stat (dereference) existing symlink `/usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/devices/gnome-dev-disc-cdrw.svg'

And of course, 15 minutes later, next error message on the same subject:

Could not install 'gnome-icon-theme'

The upgrade will continue but the 'gnome-icon-theme' package may be in a not working state. Please consider submitting a bugreport about it.

package gnome-icon-theme is already installed and configured
