Hello. i recently started being diluged with spam. The spam reminded me alot of before i got spam assassin, i figured I otta upgrade. I must not have the repository correct for pulling down 3.2.5 because and 3.1.0 is all that is listed for dapper. the backports also go to a higher number 3.1. something i think.

Do i simply have to compile from source, or is there any technical reason that I cannot? Has it not been backported because of technical limitations? can i use a repository to pull it down with no effort?

is my only option to upgrade the entire system

thanks

If you want to compile it from source you can, or find a 3.25 deb package to install (you could have dependecy problems though) But upgrading to the next LTS release (hardy) might be a better option in the long run.
